DINER REVIEW • JUL 22, 2012
We had a fantastic lunch here yesterday. The menu is inventive and the food is excellent. The beer menu is over the top. The facility and grounds are really well done. The owners are very involved in the operation of the establishment.
It is easy to miss the deli, liquor store and wine shop. Well done and very competitive, leave some time to roam.

This place is incredible in every way: food, beer, service, quality and atmosphere. There's little if anything to criticize at this establishment.
The location is set up with a deli, package store, bar and restaurant. There are dining areas outside with adequate seating around the establishment and on an upstairs patio overlooking the Indian River. Immediately outside their inside dining area, there is seating available with heat lamps to keep you warm while dining outside in the colder months. Inside, there is a small dining area and a bar.
The bar is the highlight of the trip for any beer lover. The boast 65 beers on tap. 60 of them are located in the bar area and the last 5 listed are in the package store. (Note: your bar tender will need to run to get beers 61-65). They keep beers on until they are out of a specific selection and then rotate new beers from other breweries in their place. As an IPA lover, they had an ample selection to keep my palate satisfied. You can also sample several of their beers at the bar until you find the perfect brew for your taste.
Aside from the brews, they have a small fresh menu. They have excellent appetizers including bacon wrapped scallops (garnished with an amazing grit cake) and an antipasto salad that we enjoyed during our visit. For dinner, we enjoyed their triple tail fish special and their pork chops. They brine their pork to ensure it retains the perfect moisture.
The bartender Jacob was excellent at his job. Had an expert knowledge of the beers and brewing process as well as the menu items at the restaurant. He was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs as customers.
The package store has a nice selection of microbrews, hard liquors & wines. They also put tables on the second floor to enjoy your favorite beverage while watching one of their big screen TVs. They have a markup on their drinks, but not unreasonable for the quality products they carry.
Fantastic experience in every way, I can't wait to return to the area to enjoy more from their bar and their menu.

Seating was in varied areas of the mansion, depending apon your preference. Outside and down staris in a garden patio. Inside, or upstairs on the roof top. We sat on the roof top which overlooks the Indian River. Beautiful clear night with a warm gentle breeze. The service was friendly and our waiter, Shawn offered suggestions for both wine and dinner selection. We settled on a nice Riseling. The food was brought out quickly and proportions were generous. The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked. They even have a deli and wine celler down stairs. I will definately be heading back there my next trip to Melbourne
