The Bucket List of Scotch

Who makes the best scotch? What is the best scotch? Have you ever wondered, have I had the best scotch? These questions are common among scotch drinkers around the world. The answers are as diverse as the number of scotches made. It is common, when talking with scotch whiskey lovers in the Cellars and in my travels around the globe, that one question is always asked, what is your favorite whiskey? I like to ask, what whiskey would you tell someone they have to try before they go to whiskey heaven? In other words, what is the ‘bucket list’ of scotch whiskeys? So, with that in mind we are going to pull some of our must have Scotches to drink before whiskey heaven. Some come from distilleries like Dalmore,  known for its unique use of sherry casks. Others come from Bruichladdich with its unique grain to glass and the Islay influence. Then, there are the old grandfathers, Macallan and Glenfarclas, who make amazing highland whiskeys with multiple cask influences. This is a special opportunity to share some of the must drink whiskeys on our ‘bucket list’. Space is limited, much like the scotches we will sip this Saturday in the Cellars. There will be no refunds due to limited seating.
