The Great Whiskey Hunt

I am often asked, “What is your favorite whiskey?” My response is simple… “The one in my glass!” We define whiskey by the smell, smoothness, taste, finish, etc. But, the reality is a combination of them all,  along with one key ingredient, people to share it with. Thus, we are digging into our stash of great selections to find some of the best whiskeys to share. We will taste the new release of Yellowstone 101 for 2023. This years is a blend of 7, 13 and 16 year aged bourbons finished in Tokaji casks (Hungarian wood). Amazing bourbon plain and simple.  Woodford Master’s Collection #18 which is all about the lower proof barrel entry at 100 proof. This years’ release is oak, cinnamon raisin, and light baking spices… beautiful whiskey. Russell’s Reserve 13 Year batch 5 release… simple smooth and delicious. Remus Repeal Reserve Bourbon VII was just released and we are opening it for the tasting. This promises to be a great experience tasting some great bourbons from old traditional distilleries.
